It is a nice neighbourhood, with many ‘posh’ houses. Many ‘alternative’ people live around the pleasant Dageraadplaats with its numerous bars
and restaurants with terraces where the locals meet.
You can admire some beautiful street art nearby, graffitti that are replaced by new ones every year, when more than 60 international graffiti artists are invited specially for the occasion.
A little further you have the Cogels-Osylei: the most beautiful street in Antwerp:
with ornate Art Nouveau mansions and grand neoclassical palaces, late 19th century.
